Couples Therapy

Do you feel like your relationship is at a standstill? Are you and your partner stuck in the same argument loop every night? Do you feel like the you and your partner are drifting away? Do you desire more intimacy between you and your partner?

I use the Gottman Method in my work couples.  This is an evidence-based treatment approach, with over 40 years of research behind it. According to Drs. John and Julie Gottman, “the goals of Gottman Method Couples Therapy are to disarm conflicting verbal communication; increase intimacy, respect, and affection; remove barriers that create a feeling of stagnancy; and create a heightened sense of empathy and understanding within the context of the relationship.” Please click below for more information.  I also use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in my work with couples in order to help them identify important value systems that can lead to a meaningful shared life between partners.
